let's go to that place Starbucks Grand River

A bunch of classes would let out at around 11:10. Then the line would suddenly be unbearably long. From students leaving class and also those coming in and rushing to the 11:30 classes. Twenty minutes where he would never ever go to that
Starbucks

He felt bad for his friend. The job must be extremely stressful during those times. You had to get the orders right. The right kind of milk. The right kind of coffee. The right size. The right name. So many details. So many discussions happening in the shop and in the hallway that the Starbucks was connected to. The loud music blaring over the speaker. The espresso machine hissing and whining. A barista beside you pounding out old espresso grounds. Another yelling out a name "ORDER FOR TRISHA".

He thought it was stupid for so many students to get a coffee from Starbucks during that time. Why wait in line like that? Why overwhelm the staff? Why not go either before or after. Probably a scheduling conflict he assumed. What are you going to do if you had a class from 9:10 to 10:00 then 10:00 to 11:10 then 11:30 to 12:20. You would need to grab a coffee on the go, even if the line was long.

He himself didn't get coffee from Starbucks or any other external cafe until recently. It seemed a waste of money. After all the university was charging him over 2000 dollars a semester for the caf. There was free coffee there. Why spend money ontop of that for something the caf already provided?

But eventually he did cave. He bought one coffee while on the main strip,

ave. He had been walking around with some friends. They all pointed to a cafe that he had seen many times while walking across and alongside this street with so many shops. The cafe had stood out from all the other shops. "Let's try that place out," Sean had said. And the group of friends had gone in.
