He didn’t remember how he had met Karina. They just sort of always hung out. First they worked together. That he knew was for two years. Then they lived together, but more he was living with her. She had bought the house he just paid rent. Which was nice. Did things around the house. Mostly tidying and cleaning the kitchen. Sometimes he’d cook her food, although they had different habits different shifts. Back then he worked pretty regular shifts and she the nights. It worked out though he’d be there if she forgot soemthing and some times when he’d wake up and was making coffee, she’d just be getting home. It was nice like that. Other times when their schedules would align they’d watch a movie or Gilmore Girls. They always liked that. He was happy when she got a dog, or did she always have one? He didn’t remember. Other people had moved in too, but he saw them less. But how did they meet. It must have been the first day on the job. He remembers being nervous but she was a friend of a guy he had just met. Quan.
