I thought about when my girlfriend's sister got married, and it's already almost two years. That makes you realize that time goes by so fast. And that makes you realize that death will soon be here. It's easy to think that it'll never come and that life is long. But in fact I feel as though it isn't.
As a young buck you always think that there's always tomorrow. But one day the final day will be upon us. So many loose ends we might want to tie up, finally do the things we always wanted to do but didn't. Say things to people we wanted to say but held our tongue. We'll want to do all of that when those final days are upon us.
One thing I've learned about finally being 30 for awhile now is that life does indeed end. It's beautiful and scary at the same time.
