"Hear me out, mane. Hear me out." He took another drag. The Kid was smoking too. Usually never did. Today called for it.
"I was talking to someone. Egghead. Real brainiac. Left science to work in non profit. He told me that nowadays you could save a kid's life in sub saharan africa for about 3000 dollars."
Both Blayne and the Kid waited for Danny to continue.
"I've definitely spent 3000 dollars over an over again on stupid things. How many more kids would be alive had I gave that money to the non profits?"
"Like Schindler." the kid said not looking at any one particular.

Danny's eyes were low but focused. "We got a film buff here. Didn't know kids these days watched movies like that."
Later that night The Kid didn't go back to his girlfriend's. Instead the three of them went to Blayne's house where he had a projector. They ordered pizza and watched Schindler's List. danny opened a beer but didn't finish it the entire movie.
