Howard kept thinking about that table. It was custom built. No doubt by a craftsman who knew what they were doing. it folded in on itself and you could slide in the green felt, cards, and chips into it and close it so that nobody would know there was a card game happening. It all happened within ten seconds. Actually less than that. It took probably about three seconds if Howard was being realistic, but thinking back on it, it had felt much longer.

Now he was walking outside, behind Michael Bo and Spencer who were yelling about what had just happened. Anybody in one of the apartments they were walking beside could probably hear them if they were listening.

They were heading to 

Georgio's

for pizza. Not that they were especially hungry. The main reason they had gone out was to get out of the house. The 

frat

house had cleared out and was now mostly empty. Just the brothers and a few of their friends. They kept blaring the music but the feeling was different. It was nice being out here in the cold air with Spencer and Michael. During that walk Howard didn't think about being alone for Thanksgiving.
