He scanned the house, it looked normal. He had about, 10 minutes, at least according to his watching, 8 minutes according to the clock on the wall.

Life was good with the friend. Except he wasn't happy. It had been 4 years of schooling, then 5 more years, and finally another two or three. At this point he was just in it for the pay check but that never came.

There were other people at the airport McKayla liked watching. Not in a weird way just she liked imaging what they would be doing if they weren't here. 

Some couples staked out whole areas glaring at anyone who came near. She wondered how they were alone. Probably just watched TV....

Her gate wasn't released yet, but she knew.  Chicago was always gate 6. It didn't matter much besides there weren't many gates. Ten in total, but most of the time only 6 work. 

They were supposed to board in an hour. People kept going up to the desk to ask...

It was like the life of the cafe was drained out. They floated different ideas around for one week Sydney delivered coffee to peoples homes. But that didn't work. Whenever she'd drop the coffee off the people would ask her how she was, if she wanted to come in and...

“The Russian ones you know like The Idiot and stuff.”

“I uh, I tried I started it, couldn’t, there were so many characters. Names were tough.”
