The 

fat

man wasn't actually that fat. Apparently 

Homer Simpson

was once considered morbidly 

obese

. But with changing standards he was no longer considered morbidly so. The fat man felt the same way. One day in his 30s he looked at one of his old suits that he wore while he was in a 

frat

at 

college

. The slim garb reminded him of his past figure. Touching that suede suit in his hands he felt so fat.

But then a few more decades past and everybody got fat. He got fatter, but everybody else got fatter faster so he no longer felt so fat. Plus he wore expensive suits that covered his figure and made him look 

wealthy

. He got tips from another successful man -- not as successful as him -- who had great taste in expensive suits. The other man seemed to have good taste in everything. In fact he was the one who had introduced him to the great Blue Man. What a circus that kid was!

He would dance and make noises with instruments like a mad man. But his face would remain calm the entire time. Never would he express an emotion. Everybody else who would try to act bizarre on 

social media

could never keep their cool like The Blue Man could. Everybody else would crack under the pressure and begin acting sarcastic or self deprecate. But not the Fucking Blue Man.

Yes good taste the other less successful man who had great taste in expensive suits had. The fat man coughed, looked around to see if anyone had seen him cough and then coughed again. A thought came to him. Was the other man actually less successful than him. Come to think of it, the other man did have some ownership in The Blue Man venture. He must be raking in the dough. The fat man had been offered a stake in the venture back before The Blue Man was The Blue Man. But the fat man had declined. He thought it was all fun and stuff but never did he think he'd ever. bring in any 

money

. Look who the joke was on now?

The fat man tied his bowtie and then headed out. Today he was meeting the man with good taste in suits. They were to talk about a deal. The other man had not told the fat man what the deal was about. Just that it was a secret.
